James Barrow Caton
James Barrow Caton, 65, of Andalusia died Wednesday, May 28, 2003 in Ft. Walton Beach.
A lifelong resident of Andalusia, he was the retired owner of Andalusia Tire Company. He, also, was the co-founder of Alaweb Internet Services. Mr. Caton was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt, deepsea fish, sail, and primitive camping. He was a Black Powder Marksman and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Andalusia.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church
with Rev. Frank Beall officiating. Burial followed at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Caton; three sons, Jimbo Caton, Greg Caton and Todd (Jackie Caton); daughter, Cynthia Caton (Chuck) Studstill, all of Andalusia; two grandchildren, Stephen and Hope Caton; mother, Mrs. Lois Caton of Andalusia; and brother, Jerry (Millie) Caton of Ft. Walton Beach.
Pallbearers will be E.A. McCormac, Paul Enzor, William Shreve, Tommy Thompson, Richard Jones and Jerome Mallory.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
George W. Pittman
George W. Pittman, 82, of Red Level, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 30 at the South Church of God with Rev. Glenn Vaughn and Rev. Gary Holloway officiating. Special music was provided by the family. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include wife, Eunice Odom Pittman of Red Level; sons and daughters-in-law, Dearl and Mary A. Pittman of Crestview, Fla. and Gerald and Lynda Pittman of Red Level; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Robert Kirkland of McKenzie; daughter, Agnes Griggs of Red Level; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Bryan Griggs and Timothy Bringhurst.
Pallbearers were Larry Pittman, Mark Pittman Jr., Michael Pittman, Hayward Merritt and Terry Leddon.

Ernest Ray Jones, of Andalusia, died Thursday, May 29, 2003, in an Opp hospital.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Foreman Funeral Home.
Eunice Johnson
Eunice Johnson, of Andalusia, died Riley, May 30, 2003, in an Andalusia hospital.
