The Opp High School volleyball teams both played long matches Thursday with the varsity winning in five games and the junior varsity falling in three.

The varsity Lady Bobcats fell behind the Samson Lady Tigers by dropping the first game of the match by a score of 25-22.

In the second game, Opp rallied to record a 25-16 win.

The Lady Tigers took the third game 25-22.

Opp once again rebounded and won the next game by a score of 25-17 to force a fifth and deciding game.

Opp won the final game and the match. The score of the final game was 15-13 in Opp's favor.

In the JV match, Opp came up just short falling to Samson in three games.

Opp won the first game of the match 25-19.

Samson rallied to win the next two games by scores of 25-17 and 15-9 to earn the victory.

Opp plays again next Thursday at Elba.
