The Andalusia High School Bulldogs netted a win Friday night in varsity basketball action as they defeated the Pleasant Home Eagles 47-35.
Andalusia Head Coach Richard Robertson said the pairing was a defensive battle.
"We both made mistakes, but it was a defensive game," Robertson said. "We missed a lot of shots, but we've improved a little - not as much as we need too. We've got to continue to improve this week."
For the Dogs, Josh Johnson netted 17 points, Andre Wright and Michael each scored 8 and Brandon Wilson scored 6.
For the Eagles, Chris Little scored 16 and Nathaniel Blount 10.
With the points spread around for the Dogs, Robertson said he is looking for balance on his team.
"We go for a balanced team," he said. "Everybody's got a job to do. Every player's not out there to score points - some are out there to get the ball to the other players. It's teamwork. You don't ask people to do things they can't do."
Along with the varsity squad, the AHS B-team also recorded a victory over the Eagles 54-20, and the Lady Dogs also defeating the Lady Eagles.
"The best thing was all three of our teams won," Robertson said.
