Community Christmas is tonight

Is it better to give than receive? There are hundreds of people in Covington County who certainly believe so, and if you want proof, go out to the Kiwanis Community Center Building tonight and witness generosity in action at the annual Andalusia Community Christmas.
"Community Christmas is for needy families and children whose parents really cannot afford to buy them things for Christmas," said Deborah Donaldson, chairman of the Adopt an Angel committee. "When they sign up, they give us their clothes sizes and all that. People adopt the 'angels' and get them clothes and toys. Those who are not adopted are taken care of by the Community Christmas."
