Straughn’s Lady Tigers beat Laurel Hill 65-52 tonight in their season-opener at the Samson Tip Of tournament.

Jacie Williamson led the Lady Tigers (1-0) with 17 points, and Brittany Driver chipped in 16.

Katelyn Kinsaul added 10 points, and Paige Taylor added eight points.

Straughn will play Samson on Thursday night in the finals at 6:30 p.m.
