For the past nine weeks — not including the preseason poll — Andalusia has been ranked No. 7 in Class 4A in every poll the Alabama Sports Writers Association has released this season.

The Bulldogs beat Headland last week 63-0 to remain undefeated this season.

Bibb County and Deshler are ranked in the two spots above the Bulldogs, and Beauregard, Guntersville and Dora round out the bottom half of the top 10.

The only ranked opponent Andalusia has played this season came at week five, when the Bulldogs beat then Class 3A’s eighth-ranked T.R. Miller 35-10. T.R. Miller received 24 votes in this week’s poll, and is not ranked.

Andalusia will travel to face Opp this week in its 68th meeting in the rivalry.
