Public library to host magic show on July 23

Next Saturday, July 23, the Greenville-Butler County Public Library will present its end-of-the-summer Reading Program Spectacular. The event will take place at 11 a.m., is free to the public and is open to all ages.
The library will have The Magic Guy Skip Cain, a former teacher who has entertained and delighted audiences all over the world.
His travels have taken him to 44 countries to raise the morale and to entertain military personnel and their families.
This was part of 22 overseas tours, most of which were for the United States Department of Defense.
In addition to his overseas tours, he has presented over 6,000 school assemblies in 49 of the 50 states, performed at 11 amusement parks, various colleges, malls, corporate functions and many other venues.
His unique mix of comedy, magic and audience interaction is suitable for all ages.
Cain works to impart the message that through education and effort, it is possible for almost anyone to find a vocation that he or she will really enjoy.
In addition to the magic show, the library will have awards for the children who have consistently attended the reading programs all summer.
