Jami Barlow spent four years as a letterman on the Fort Dale Academy girls basketball team.

After leading the Lady Eagles to an unbeaten season in 1999 to win the Class AAA championship, she went on to play four seasons at Huntingdon College.

Now, she is sharing her basketball knowledge as head girls basketball coach at Clarke Prep School in Grove Hill.

It's been almost six years since she led the Eagles to the state title, but her record for most steals in a season (100) still stands.

Now her legend as a Fort Dale Academy Eagle becomes permanent after she and three other former Eagles were elected to the Fort Dale Academy Hall of Fame Class of 2005.

Mal Winters, Adam Crenshaw and Patrick Skipper joined Barlow as part of the induction ceremony on Friday.

"I remember all four of them being very successful in athletics, and all four were very coachable, too," said Fort Dale Academy athletic director Reggie Mantooth. "That also led to those teams being very successful."

In Barlow's four-year basketball career, she scored more than 1,000 points. She was an All-State player as a junior and senior.

She also lettered in track and field and softball at Fort Dale Academy.

Winters also was a multi-sport star for the Eagles. He lettered for four years in baseball and three years in basketball.

He helped lead the 2000 baseball team to the Class AAA semifinals. He also played on the 1999 Class AAA state runner-up basketball team and the 2000 state semifinal team.

Winters then lettered for four years on Troy State University's baseball team, which led him to play for the Shreveport Sports independent baseball team of the Central Baseball League.

While at Troy, his is the fifth all-time leader in innings pitched and the seventh all-time leader in strikeouts.

Skipper was a four-year letterman in football, and helped lead the Eagles to the Class AAA state title game in 2000.

Skipper was named an All-State offensive lineman in 2000 before attending Auburn University.

Skipper also lettered in track and field and weightlifting at Fort Dale.

Crenshaw was a teammate of Skipper on the 2000 Class AAA state final team.

He lettered four years in football and basketball, while lettering in baseball and track and field.

As a three-year starter on the basketball team, he played on the 2000 semifinal team and was apart of the 1999 state finalist team.

He scored more than 1,000 points in his career and was named to the All-State team as a senior.
