Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Barlow of Highland Home announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer, to Grant McDonald, son of Mr. and Mrs. John McDonald of Montgomery.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tommie D. Owens of Highland Home and the late Thomas Barlow and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Brighthurst of Montgomery. She is a graduate of Auburn University Montgomery with a degree in Information Systems, and is employed by Auburn University.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eber Grisso of Sacramento and the late Mr. and Mrs. John McDonald of Montgomery. He attended Lipscomb University in Nashville and Auburn University. The groom-elect is currently employed by Bradley Plumbing and Heating.

The wedding is slated to take place at 3:30 p.m. April 29, 2006 at the Luverne Church of Christ.
