DONALD LAMAR SMITH

Donald Lamar Smith, 64, of Andalusia, passed away Tues., Sept. 20, 2011, in the Opp hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Fri., Sept. 23, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his brothers, James Douglas (Faye) Smith of Nederland, Texas, Demond (Majorie) Smith and Dewayne (DeeDee) Smith, all of Andalusia; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry and Nobie Lee Smith; and sister, Frances Capps.

L.E. Bess Sr., 86, of Enterprise, formerly of Elba, passed away Tues., Sept. 20, 2011, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Fri., Sept. 23, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Keahey Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include his sons, Leon Bess Jr. of Samson, Timothy (Lyn) Bess of Enterprise and Phillip (Vicky) Bess of Melbourn, Fla.; daughters, Tammy (Jeff) Shaw of Holley Hill, Fla., and Debra Griffin of Enterprise; brother, Y.Z. (Bobbie) Bess of Florala; sister, Isabel Morrisey of Crestview, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Bess; brothers, J.C. Bess, K.B. Bess and W.D. Bess, and sisters, Estelle Aughtman, Lodell Tucker and Rhoda Bell Foxworth.

ADEN TIMOTHY LEWIS

Aden Timothy Lewis, the infant son of Christopher Michael Lewis and Marilyn Romero, passed away on Tues., Sept. 20, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Sat., Sept. 24, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Keahey Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

GEORGE EDWIN FLINN

George Edwin Flinn, 80, of Andalusia, died Tues., Sept. 20, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Fri., Sept. 23, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Morgan and the Rev. Billy Boles officiating. Interment will follow with military honors at Adellum Cemetery.

Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 at Foreman’s.

He was preceded in death by a son, Garry Flinn.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Flinn of Andalusia; son and daughter-in-law, George E. and Glenda Flinn of Hanceville; daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Wade Humphries of Thomasville, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Holloway, Mike Broussard, Tomas Castilla, Derek Fore, Bill Morris and Harry Peacock.

Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Adellum Baptist Church.

WILLIAM WARREN HUTCHESON

William Warren Hutcheson, 84, of Andalusia, formerly of Loango, died Tues., Sept. 20, 2011, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, Thurs., Sept. 22, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Lee officiating, and burial following in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Loango.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Hutcheson of Andalusia; his daughters and sons-in-law, Debby and Tim Gilliam of Meansville, Ga., and Sherrie and Jeffrey Blackmon of Glenwood; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Teresa Hutcheson of Trussville; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Herb and Catherine Maraman of Tifton, Ga., and Ken and Blake Maraman of Elberta; five grandsons, Doug (Tiffany) and Derek (Mandi) Hutcheson, Aaron and Josh Gilliam, and Cooper Blackmon; two granddaughters, Courtney Hutcheson and Mackenzie Blackmon; two step grandsons, Harmon and Jace Maraman; four step-granddaughters, Chapman, Helen, Julia, and Ruth Maraman; a sister-in-law, Clara Hutcheson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Ruby Pearl Cooper Hutcheson; parents, Babe and Mertice Hutcheson; brother, Lomac Hutcheson; and sister, Kathleen Oas.
