PHS girls sweep McKenzie

The Pleasant Home Lady Eagles completed their regular season area sweep over McKenzie Monday night on the road, winning 19-0 in three innings.
The Lady Eagles scored 12 runs in the first inning, six in the second and one in the third.
Kayla Woods was 3-for-3 with three runs; Megan Cook was 3-for-4 with three runs; and Robyn Weaver was 2-for-2 with two home runs.
Brentin Fuller earned the win on the mound pitching 2.0 innings allowing no runs, no hits and striking out five.
Gina Davis earned the save.
In junior varsity action, the Lady Eagles won 18-3 in four innings.
Pleasant Home will host Red Level on Thursday starting at 4 p.m. with the junior varsity team.
On Friday, Pleasant Home hosts Florala.
