Tillery#039;s hot pitching leads O#039;s over #8216;Stros

Cade Tillery struck out 14, including the last six batters he faced and hit a three RBI double to lead the Orioles to a 7-3 win over the Astros in Dixie Minors play.
Tillery's double came in the third with the Orioles trailing 2-1. Teammates Timmy Gorum, Colby Booker and Toby King reached base ahead of Tillery, who then cleared the bases. The Orioles added two more runs in the late innings after Booker and King scored after reaching based on errors.
Chip Taylor led the Astros going 2-for-2 from the plate with a double and a single and scored twice. Chase Whiddon also doubled for the Astros and scored a run.
Yankees 6, Red Sox 5
The Yankees posted three runs in the their first at bat then got some solid defense and pitching by Daniel Hall Autrey to hang on to a 6-5 win over the Red Sox. Autrey also contributed offensively drawing three walks and scoring three runs.
Ryan Burkett led the Sox going 3-for-3 with three singles and scored three runs. Deaton Owens was 2-for-3 from the plate and scored a run for the Sox.
Twins 12, Braves 1
The Twins scored two runs in the first inning then pounded out eight hits and drew seven walks to route the Braves, 12-1. Mike Smith struck out nine Braves to get the win. Harper Vinson led the Twins going 2-for-2 with a walk and scored a run. Ben Presley also reached base three times scoring two runs and Austin Norris singled twice and scored twice.
Curt Davis scored the lone run for the Braves after reaching on a walk in the second inning. He also singled in the final frame with one out but was stranded after Smith struck out the last two batters to end the game.
