In local volleyball action Thursday night, Pleasant Home was the only team that walked away with a win.

The Lady Eagles beat Red Level 3-0, Opp fell to area opponent Geneva 3-2 and Florala lost 3-1 to Laurel Hill.

The Lady Bobcats won the second and fourth games of the match.

“They played good,” OHS coach Christie Spurlin said. “We just had to give the match a little more effort so we could win. The girls played hard.

“When we play our area tournament, hopefully we can get them back then,” she said.
