Melanie Elaine Rainey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Arlington Rainey, of Greenville, and Cecil Francis Cain, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Francis Cain, Sr. of Mobile, were united in marriage, May 20, 2006, at First United Methodist Church in Greenville.

The Rev. Chris Eckert and Father Mark Neske officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. William Dewey Clark and the late Mr. Clark of Wetumpka, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arlington Dabsey Rainey of Greenville.

The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Edward Moore Cain, and the late Mr. Cain and

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Marshall Marr, Sr., both of Mobile, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Jay Caton of Pensacola.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Miss Ellen Crenshaw Johnson, of Greenville, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Katherine Elizabeth Branum, of Greenville, Miss Merri Brana Cain, sister of the groom from Mobile, and Miss Rebecca Renee Cook of Memphis.

The bride's cousin, Miss Lily Gray Thompson, of Birmingham, served as the Flower Girl

Master Marshall Kent Woodfin, and Master Reid Wilson Taylor, nephews of the groom and both of Pensacola, served as Ring Bearers.

The groom's father served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Mr. Jonathan Hunter Cain, brother of the groom, of Mobile, Mr. William David Akin, of Nashville, and Mr. Robert Jacob Clement, of Mobile.

Mr. Ross Matthew Cascio, of Metarie, LA, Mr. Frank Winter Hardie, of Mobile, Mr. Charles Edgar Walker Hayes, of Mobile, Mr. Lauten Sanders Johnson, of Mobile, and Mr. Jeb Mahan Justice, of Mobile, all served as ushers.

The music for the ceremony was provided by organist, Mrs. Charles Frank Bentley, of Greenville, and Soloist Mrs. Daniel Andrew Brown, of Montgomery. Mr. Daniel Dale Fordham, of Montgomery, and Mrs. James Caleb Gardner, of Greenville read from the Bible.

The reception was held at the home of the bride.

After a honeymoon trip to the Caribbean Island of St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Memphis, Tennessee.
