Meet my dog, she’s a congresswoman

Dear Editor:

While watching my family pet, a dog, it hit me that the following is true.

My dog sleeps 20 hours a day, has food prepared and can eat at any time she pleases. Meals are provided at no cost. She sees a doctor once a year and again if the need arises, at no costs.

She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house too big for her, but is not required to do any clean-up. If she makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. She has her choice of places to sleep, and these accommodations are free. She lives like a queen with no expenses, and all her costs are picked up and paid by others who earn a living every day.

Well, out of the ‘Blue’ it hit me, my dog is a member of Congress.
