Eagle fans are encouraged to don their red and blue and unite this Thursday, August 31, at Fort Dale Academy.
The school is kicking off things in high style with its “Back to School Blast.”
Beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the football field, the event offers attendees a chance to meet all those who will be playing a part in the school's football season.
“We will introduce all our football teams from peewee to varsity, along with all our cheerleaders, dance teams, and twirlers,” FDA Headmaster David Brantley said.
Football season is already underway at the school. With last week's 7-6 win over fellow top ten team Edgewood Academy, the evening should be a fun-filled and spirited one for all in attendance, the headmaster said.
Light refreshments will be served in the concession stands during the event.
FDA supporters will also have the chance to purchase items such as stadium seats, signs, mini-megaphones and more at the school's spirit booth.
“We had a good turnout and really good event last year and we hope to do the same this year. We encourage everyone to come out and support the Eagles,” Brantley said.
FDA will be playing Hooper Academy in Greenville this Friday night.
