The holidays will be here before we know it, and one of the best parts of the season is seeing the beautiful decorations.
Sasanqua Garden Club of Greenville wants to help make your holiday a more lovely and sweet-smelling one for you and your family to enjoy.
The club has launched its annual Wreath and Garland Sale, featuring noble fir and mixed wreaths and western cedar garlands to decorate doors, doorways, banisters and mantelpieces.
The sale continues through Wednesday, Oct. 11 with the holiday items slated to arrive the first week in December for delivery or pickup.
“The wreaths and garlands are fresh, beautiful and so fragrant,” Tammy Gaston, club president, said.
Prices are as follows: 22-inch noble fir or mixed wreaths are $17.50 each, 28-inch noble fir wreaths are $24.50 and a 10-foot western cedar garland is $19.50.
While the wreaths and garlands will go to beautify many area homes, the monies raised by their sale will help beautify the community, Gaston said.
“This year our big project will be adding roses to the landscape at the Greenville exit off I-65. The roses will be on both side of the south and north-bound exits, adding much-needed color and interest to an area that is all some people will actually see of Greenville.”
Gaston said the garden club has worked on many projects with the city to make such beautification projects happen over the years.
“The city has always been a great partner, always eager to assist us with planning, planting and maintenance of our projects.”
