WSFA#039;s Kim Hendrix to speak at SLBC March 24

Kim Hendrix, a news anchor and reporter for WSFA-TV in Montgomery, Alabama, will speak at a conference for women on Saturday, March 24, 2007, at South Luverne Baptist Church.
The conference will be from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and the admission cost is $10, which includes a box lunch.
The conference, the first of its kind in Crenshaw County, is sponsored by Crenshaw County Women for Christ, and the theme is “Bloom Where You Are Planted.”
Ms. Hendrix handles public relations for women's ministry and coordinates the Shine Your Light services for women at Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church in Montgomery.
She will speak two times during the conference, and her topics will be “The Blessings of our Tragedies” and “Tomorrow We Walk.”
Music will be led by Jessica Carpenter and the Women for Christ Praise Team and by Shelia Jackson from Troy.
Melissa Bush, who is a part of the Women for Christ organization, encourages women to order their tickets soon.
“We hope to sell all the tickets before March 24th, and we encourage women to order their tickets early to insure availability,” Bush said.
