Safe Harbor offering box lunches this Thursday

Safe Harbor, the Butler County Children's Advocacy Center, is once again sponsoring its popular boxed lunch delivery.
The picnic box lunch includes the famous “Chicken Shack” of Luverne's chicken salad, a cup of fresh fruit salad, tangy pickles, freshly baked yeast roll, napkin, fork, knife and a “minty” toothpick - indeed, all that and a bag of chips.
“These lunches have proven very popular. People just love the Chicken Shack's salad and the rolls are delicious,” Safe Harbor Director Kathy Smyth said.
The proceeds all go to benefit Safe Harbor, which serves area children and youth who have been affected by crime, neglect and abuse.
Businesses can have lunches delivered to them next Thursday or pick-up can be made at First United Methodist Church. However, deadline to order is Monday, March 12.
“We appreciate everyone who faithfully supports us each time we have the box lunch sales. We also are so thankful for the volunteers who help us pack and deliver these lunches each time,” Smyth said.
To place an order, call 382-8584 or 406-6464 by Monday.
