S & S Cabinets

An account has been set up at First Citizens Bank in Luverne for those wishing to donate to Danny and Angela Stephens, owners of S & S Cabinets in Rutledge.
The couple's business was completely destroyed by fire on Feb. 23.
The fire began around 2 a.m., according to Bellinda Wells, mother of Angela Stephens.
“They lost all of their equipment in the fire, everything,” Wells said. “They are trying to hold to their spirit, but such a loss is so trying on the soul.”
Wells said that the family was extremely grateful to those who had helped them in any way thus far, including the volunteer fire departments that responded to the call. These included the Rutledge VFD, Luverne VFD, Fullers Crossroads VFD, Highland Home VFD, Brantley VFD and Chapel Hill VFD.
“Whether it's your time, a monetary donation or business equipment, they will appreciate any help that can be given,” Wells said. “So many people have come out already to help us, and we are so grateful.”
Tools that are needed would include anything used to work with wood and cabinetry.
Those wishing to donate to Danny and Angela Stephens and S & S Cabinets may do so by donating to the “Fire Account” at First Citizens Bank in Luverne, or by mailing in a donation to the bank at P.O. Drawer 271, Luverne, AL
36049.
