The Straughn Tigers baseball team routed Florala Monday night in a doubleheader.

The Tigers beat the Wildcats 18-2 in the first game and 14-4 in the second.

Both contests were decided in five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.

Straughn improves to 19-3 on the season.

The Tigers play their first area game on Thursday against Luverne on the road. The game will begin at 5 p.m.
