Thigpen joins staff of The Advocate

The Greenville Advocate welcomes a new addition to its advertising staff this week. Ashley Norman Thigpen has joined the newspaper staff as an advertising representative.
Born and raised in Greenville, Thigpen is a graduate of Fort Dale Academy.
She earned her BS degree in Family & Child Development at Auburn University. Thigpen has worked in the area of sales for several years.
“I came back to Greenville to marry the ‘boy from across the street,' Ward Thigpen. I am so happy to be back home near my family and friends,” Thigpen said.
GA Advertising Manager Tracy Salter said, “I am very excited to have Ashley join the Greenville Advocate family. I look forward to the professionalism and enthusiasm she will bring to the paper.”
Thigpen said she is very much looking forward to her new career in newspaper advertising.
“ I am so excited about working with the fun and vivacious staff members at The Advocate, and I welcome the opportunity to work with area businesses and organizations to help meet their needs and goals,” she said.
“ Greenville is a place on the grow and this is just a wonderful opportunity.”
