Braves fall to Pirates and Cardinals

Nineteen players scored at least one run Thursday as the Pirates held off the Braves for the Georgiana Parks and Recreation Dixie Youth win, 11-10.
Offensively for the Pirates, Orlando Franks scored two runs while Tarien Crittenden, Devin Bonner, Matt Sheffield, Seth Kelley, Jatavious Finklea, Geron Feagin, Jacquez Payton, Keonte Gilmore and Richard Boggan each scored one.
For the Braves, Hunter Smith scored two runs while Chance House, Jay Williams, Zack Gaston, Christopher Cobb, Desmond Williams, Matt Colvin, Cory Hall and Alajuwon Payton each scored one.
The games scheduled for Thursday have been cancelled and will be played Tuesday.
The Pirates will take on the Cardinals Tuesday at 7 p.m., and the Braves will take on the Cardinals at 6 p.m.
Cardinals 9, Braves 4
Zack Compton scored two runs Thursday as the Cardinals defeated the Braves, 9-4.
Compton was the leading scorer for the Cardinals while Brandon Oikle, Justin Oikle, Rakeem Hugler, Areney Peterson, Rodney Cheatham, Makaveli Eddins and Tyler Smith also each scored a run in the win.
For the Braves, Hunter Smith, Chance House, Keondra Peterson and Alajuwon Payton each scored a run.
The Cardinals will take on the Braves Tuesday at 6 p.m., and then take on the Pirates at 7 p.m.
