n Bethel Methodist Church Memorial Service
Bethel Methodist Church will hold its annual Memorial Service (Decoration Day) at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2007.

n CMN Trail Ride
The Children’s Miracle Network Trail Ride is slated for Saturday, May 19 at the Henry County Horse and Saddle Club. Ride begins at 1:30 p.m. In the event of rain, ride will be re-scheduled for Sat., June 2. Admission is $15 for riders and $5 for non-riders. n Blood Drive at City Hall
The City of Greenville is hosting an &uot;In Their Honor&uot; blood drive with Life South from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 23 in front of City Hall. Donors will receive a commemorative T-shirt in honor of our troops and an &uot;I Gave&uot; postcard that can be mailed to an enlisted service person. Donors must be at least 17, wweigh 110 pounds and show a photo ID at time of donation.

Butler Chapel AME Zion Church, Rev. Harold O. Simpson, pastor, will observe Family Day on Sunday, May 27 during its morning worship service. &uot;Families Putting God First&uot; is the theme. n Mambazo speaks at New Beginnings
Seneta Mambazo will preach her first sermon and receive her license as a minister at New Beginnings Ministries, 501 Government St. in Greenville at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 27. Mambazo, who survived a near-fatal car crash with her three children less than one year ago, will share her unique testimony and ministry with those attending. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The annual Georgiana High School Reunion, classes 1959 to 1969, will be held at the Georgiana Community House from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 2.
