Washington has a spending problem. It is too much spending that has gotten us where we are, not too little revenue. If $14.3 trillion isn’t enough spending for Barack Obama and his profligate Democrat allies, no amount will be. You and I must live within our means—and it’s high time Washington learned to do the same.

We have to show we mean business if you are representing the people back home, then do what they are asking you to do.

1. Pass a balanced budget amendment through the U.S House.

2. Stop the spending spree.

3. Our house majority leader Eric Cantor is 100 percent on target. Who cares if our president is agitated? It is time to really take it to him and let him show his Chicago style outrage. Not raising the ceiling and lying about not having the money to pay Social Security and the debt is the Democratic way of putting fear in us seniors. If Mr. Obama wants to raise the $14.3 trillion debt limit he must back the balanced budget amendment to the Constitution and quit lying.
