County BOE approves 7 personnel changes

Tbe Covington County Board of Education had seven personnel matters on its agenda Tuesday night.
The board took the following personnel action:
• Granted medical leave of absence and benefits under the Family Medical Leave Act to Ashley Lynn Taylor, elementary school teacher at Red Level Elementary until Sept. 26.
• Accepted the resignation of Robert Bradford, social science teacher and head football coach at Pleasant Home School, effective immediately.
• Accepted the resignation of Jonathan Stinson, science teacher at Florala High School, effective immediately.
• Accepted the retirement resignation of Catherin Walden Godwin, lunchroom worker at Red Level High School, effective immediately.
• Approved employment for Kelly Rebecca McCollough as special education coordinator, effective July 1.
• Approved employment for Phillip Smith as science teacher at Florala High School, effective Aug. 3.
• Approved employment for Britta Renee Lambert as science teacher at Red Level High School, effective Aug. 3.
The next meeting will be July 7 at 6:30 p.m.
