Carry insurance card, hang on to cash

I writing this letter to hopefully help other people that read this to save a lot of money and trouble.

It’s a law in Alabama that you must have proof of insurance with you when are operating a motor vehicle. I have talked to other people that have gone through road checks and got tickets for not having proof of insurance. Their tickets were torn up after proving proof of insurance.

The one time in my life I forget to put my insurance card in my truck, I went through one of Gantt Police Department’s weekend road checks. It cost me a lot of money for that mistake.

Maybe this will help other people not leave their hard-earned cash in Gantt.
