After nearly two months of being without WCOV FOX 20, local DISH Network subscribers have had the channel restored.
The two were unable to reach an agreement in March, temporarily ending the partnership between the station and provider.
Station owner David Woods filed a lawsuit stating DISH was was trying to push away local stations and hired former Alabama attorney Troy King to represent the station.
DISH released this statement regarding the addition of WCOV to the channel lineup:
“DISH Network is pleased to have reached a deal with Woods Communications Corp. that restored WCOV (FOX) Ch. 20 in Montgomery. We sincerely appreciate the patience our customers have shown during this time. We will continue to work hard to offer more choices and the lowest everyday prices in the industry.”
