Florala state track champion receives ring

Florala High School recently recognized 2024 alumnus Seth Cotton with a ring for winning two track state championships last spring.

Cotton won the 110-meter hurdles event with a time of 16.37 and the 300-meter hurdles event with a time of 42.56.

The school also recognized Ronald Johnson who took the title in 1A boys’ high jump with a mark of 6-02.00. Johnson was unable to attend the ceremony.
