The Opp and Covington County Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that nominations are now open for the 2025 Hall of Fame Induction and Award Ceremony.

The annual event aims to celebrate the outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations that make Opp and Covington County a better place to live and work.

The Business of the Year award honors a business that has shown exemplary performance, innovation, and community involvement.

The Spirit of Opportunity award recognizes individuals or groups that embody the spirit of progress and opportunity in our community.

The One of Opp’s Own award celebrates a resident whose achievements have brought pride and recognition to Opp.

Additionally, the Chamber invites nominations for individuals who have devoted their lives to the betterment of the community to be inducted into the prestigious Opp Hall of Fame.

“We are proud to shine a spotlight on those who make Opp and Covington County an exceptional place to call home,” said Joni Lolley, Executive Administrator of the Opp Chamber. “This is an opportunity to honor the businesses and individuals whose contributions leave a lasting impact on our community.”

Nominations can be submitted by visiting the Opp Chamber’s website at www.oppcoc.net. Applications must be completed and submitted no later than March 31, 2025.

Winners will be recognized during the 2025 Hall of Fame Induction and Award Ceremony. Event date and times will be released at a later date.
