Michael Van Elledge

Michael Van Elledge, age 68, of Opp, passed away on Jan. 6, 2025, at his residence.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 10, 1 p.m., at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends one hour prior to the services. Rev. John Eiland will officiate.

Left to cherish his memory include: his loving wife of 39 years, Debbie Elledge of Opp; sons, Michael Paul Elledge (Beth) of Illinois, Thomas Jeffrey Elledge (Erinn) of Illinois, and Darin James Brown Jr. (Candelynne) of Texas; daughters, Monica Lynn Henderson of Missouri and Stacey Annette Klitzka of Opp; brother, Doyle Wayne Elledge (Mary) of Haneyville, Alabama; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Michael served in the U.S. Army for over 16 years. He was a faithful member of Greentree Christian Fellowship and loved reading his Bible and attending Bible studies. He also enjoyed spending time in his woodworking shop. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
