Deborah Bibbee Foster, affectionately known as “Debbie,” was born on August 22, 1959, in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. She passed away peacefully on Dec. 20, 2024, surrounded by family. At the time of her passing, Deborah resided in Andalusia with her devoted husband, Gary Lawson.

Deborah was a beloved wife to Gary and a mother to her two daughters, Nichole Overly (Robbie) and Angela Gardner (Darrin). She embraced her role as a grandmother with boundless love, cherishing every moment spent with Layla Overly, Cody Gardner, and Cooper Gardner. Whether cheering at rodeos or attending baseball games, Deborah found immense joy in supporting her grandchildren’s passions and celebrating their accomplishments.

A gifted artist with an extraordinary creative spirit, Deborah excelled in crafting jewelry, stained glass pieces, and weaving baskets. Her artistry went beyond skill — it was an expression of her heart. Each piece she created radiated warmth and care, leaving those who experienced her work touched by its beauty and meaning.

Beyond her artistic talents, Deborah shared a love for travel with her husband Gary and their loyal dog, Liska. Together they embarked on countless adventures filled with laughter and discovery. Whether exploring new destinations or simply enjoying each other’s company on the road, these journeys reflected Deborah’s zest for life and deep appreciation for shared experiences.

Those fortunate enough to have known Deborah will remember her vibrant spirit as a source of strong willed and never give up attitude

A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Deborah’s life.
