Florala High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America students recently sponsored a food drive for the Tri-Cities Christian Service Center in Florala.
Led by FCCLA sponsor Julia Sexton, the drive is held each year at the beginning of the holidays. The food collected helps the food bank of the Tri-Cities Christian Service Center.
“This type of food drive helps bring variety into the food we give out monthly. The help from our schools (students, teachers, administration) to donate, stock, and work at our center is invaluable. Thank you, Mrs. Sexton and everyone that promoted this food drive to make it a success,” a Tri-Cities Christian Service Center statement said.
