Tomas Castilla of Andalusia passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at an Andalusia hospital.
The family received friends Monday, Nov. 11, from 6 to 7 p.m., at Keahey Funeral Home. Cremation was selected.
Left to cherish his memory include, his loving wife, Brenda Goolsby Castilla of Andalusia; daughter, Karen Henneberry (Pat) of Macon, Georgia; grandchildren, Kayla Henneberry and Mary Ryan Henneberry, both of Macon; daughter, Angela Lidh (Kevin) of Peyton, Colorado; grandchildren, Christopher Lidh (Michelle) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michael Lidh of Chicago, and Jason Lidh of Peyton; two great grandchildren, Ryder Lidh and Shepard Lidh; brother, Fernando Castillo (Lizzie) of Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews in Mexico; and brother-at-heart, Dr. Fernando Palomeque of Mexico.
Tomas was a graduate of LBW Community College and received his radiology and nuclear medicine registration at Charity Hospital in Louisiana. For over 40 years, he worked in the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Department at Andalusia Health as a Radiology Technologist. Tomas served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Dachau Base in Germany for three years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed working in his yard, loved animals, was a sports car and gun enthusiast, and he very much loved to talk! He will be greatly missed.
Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Andalusia Area Humane Society.
