Pleasant Home (1-8) will look to close out the 2024 football season on a high note at home when Zion Chapel (6-3) visits for a non-region game on Friday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m.

This will be the 19th meeting between the two teams dating back to the 2000 season. The Rebels lead the all-time series 13-5 over the Eagles.

“Zion Chapel is a very good and improved football team. They have had several wins as of late and have a lot of confidence. They have a big group of seniors who have a lot of experience. They run the ball well and can throw when they need to. We will need to zone in on several key guys to block them or tackle them well,” Head Coach Kevin Bond said.

Last week, Pleasant Home suffered a hard-fought region loss to Georgiana, 59-0. Zion Chapel downed Barbour County in a home region contest, 42-6.

“The team kept their composure in a tough football environment when we were at Georgiana. We had some bright spots at times,” Bond said.

Senior football players and cheerleaders will be recognized before kickoff at 6:30 p.m.

The Rebels picked up a 39-6 win over the Eagles last year.
