Billy Ray Stearns, of Richmond, Texas formerly of Andalusia passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, in a Richmond, Texas nursing facility. He was 77.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 10 a.m., at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends on Friday, Oct. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Ade Walker, Robert Rutledge, Tim Mancil, Dalton Mancil, and Warren Maddox.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother and sister-in-law, James M. Stearns (DeAnn Lynn) of Richmond, Texas; nephews, Steve Kelly, Jason Butts and Jason Mollet; nieces, Leanne Walker, Liz Kendrick, Kim Douglas, Karen Zigler, Jennifer Mayo; numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Monroe Stearns and Martha Mancil Stearns, and his sister, Mary Francis Butts.

He loved westerns and country music. He will be dearly missed.
