Retired Navy veteran Captain Ralph Rutherford and his wife, Dr. Faith Drumheller, celebrated his 96th birthday with their family at Big Mike’s Steakhouse in Andalusia last week.

Capt. Rutherford’s birthday is Sept. 26, 1928. Among those pictured are Jessica McCarty, Hal McCarty, Malachi McCarty, Allie McCarty, Baillie Nichols, and Charlie Kate Nichols.

Drumheller’s son TJ Jowers also celebrated his 40th birthday and is pictured with Katelynn Jowers, to the far left.
