This fall, the National Wildlife Federation is offering free forestry workshops in Covington County, focusing on underserved and minority landowners.

The workshops will cover longleaf pine management, wildlife conservation, prescribed burning, and heirs’ property rights. Officials describe the workshops as a “great way to connect with fellow landowners and learn practical skills from forestry experts.”
