Florala (2-1, 0-1 1A Region 2) will take the field against county rival Pleasant Home (1-2, 0-1) and celebrate homecoming in a region contest on Friday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m.

This game will break a 12-12 tie in the all-time series. The two teams have played every season since 2000 as the Wildcats have won six straight over the Eagles.

Both teams fell in their region openers last week. Florala was at home against Georgiana and fell, 40-8. Pleasant Home hit the road to Brantley and was shut out, 39-0.

The Wildcats hosted the Eagles last year and had little trouble in a 60-6 win.

The crowning of this year’s homecoming queen and court presentation will be at 6:20 p.m.
