• The Minutemen will face the 33rd-ranked schedule in college football, based on their opponents’ combined win total last year (78).
• UMass will have the 46th-ranked schedule in college football, based on its opponents’ projected win total this year (69).
• UMass will play seven games this season against teams that finished above .500 in 2023. That schedule includes five teams that ended with nine or more victories and two squads with three or fewer wins last season.
• The Minutemen have seven teams who played in a bowl game last year on their schedule in 2024.

• Despite having a bottom-25 defense that ranked 17th-worst in FBS (427 yards allowed per game) last season, the Minutemen had more success on offense, ranking 88th in FBS by totaling 356.3 yards per game.
