The Andalusia Police Department’s two newest officers, Sydney Danford and William Lewis, recently graduated from the Alabama Criminal Justice Training Center in Selma.
Chief Paul Hudson said the two officers are currently participating in the department’s 16-week field training program to further prepare them to work solo.
Both Danford and Lewis did well in the Police Academy, Hudson said, adding that Lewis was elected class president by his peers and also received the commander’s award.
