Jessie “Jeanette” Parker Wiggins, age 85, of Andalusia, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Andalusia Manor.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 4, at Foreman-Brown Funeral Home from 1 until 1:45 p.m. with interment at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery for graveside service at 2 p.m. Rev. Edward Ganus will officiate.
Jeanette Parker Wiggins was born August 30, 1938, to Jessie Parker and Clemmie Frank Parker (Hubbard) in Pensacola, Florida. She moved to Andalusia, where she graduated from Pleasant Home School in 1956. On March 23, 1957, she married Henry Wiggins. She worked for a local law office as a secretary and later as a substitute teacher with Andalusia City Schools. She and Henry had two sons, Daniel Eugene Wiggins in 1959 and John David Wiggins in 1962.
Jeanette is survived by her grandsons, Wade (Carla) Wiggins, great grandchildren, Adalyn Paige Wiggins and Finn Grayson Wiggins of Opp; Dave (Beverly) Wiggins of Andalusia; and Jonathan (Kirsten) Wiggins, great-grandchildren, Madeline and McCoy Wiggins of Calera; niece, Candy Parker Simmons, great nephew Jerry Jessie Simmons of Panama City, Florida; nephew, Jessie (Shannon) Parker and great niece Olivia Parker of Panama City, Florida; cousins Donna Parks and Faye Fleming; plus other aunts, uncles and cousins; and special family members, Barbara Parker Arnold, Maxine Peek, Aubrene Ganus and Renee Wiggins Crabtree.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Wiggins, her parents Jessie and Clemmie Frank Parker (Hubbard), her sons Daniel Wiggins and John Wiggins, and her brother Jerry Parker.
Pallbearers will be Wade Wiggins, Dave Wiggins, Jonathan Wiggins and Honorary Pallbearer, Jessie Parker.
