The Miss Andalusia Pageant was held Sunday, April 28, at the LBW Dixon Center for the Performing Arts with 68 contestants participating.
The pageant is a preliminary for the National Peanut Festival Pageant and is a fundraiser for the Andalusia City Schools Parent-Teacher Association.
“This year’s pageants would not have been possible without all of the help I received from family, friends, local community members, and local businesses. I want to start off by thanking people who literally had no benefit from helping us. They donated their time to help make sure things ran smoothly and were there as people I could trust to make sure things were done right,” Pageant Director Catherine Nixon said.
Anna Martin was named Miss Andalusia 2024 and earned wins in the Prettiest Smile, Prettiest Hair, Best Dress, and Most Photogenic categories.
