The Opp and Covington County Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its inaugural Women In Business Luncheon and Silent Purse Auction.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Opp Chamber Community Room, located on Covington Avenue.

The event is designed for all women, regardless of whether they own a business, are employed by one, or hold leadership roles within their community. Participation is free of charge, and chamber officials invite everyone to contribute by donating a purse for the silent auction.

Guests will be provided lunch, served amidst an atmosphere of camaraderie and empowerment.

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Bethesda House.

“Come join us as we celebrate and honor the remarkable women who contribute to the vibrancy and success of our community. Let’s make this inaugural event a memorable occasion together,” said Opp and Covington County Chamber of Commerce Executive Administrator Joni Lolley.
