Mrs. Helen King, 101, of Andalusia, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at her residence.

Funeral services for Mrs. King will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 11 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church of Andalusia with Brother Tim Trent officiating and interment will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation is on Tuesday, April 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy Little; her sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. William G. King Jr. (Cathy), Frank E. King (Jan); her grandchildren, Dr. William G. King III (Anna), Dr. Parrish King (Katie), Beth Lomenick (Blake), Kayla Donald (Wes), Janna King, Dr. Tara Ennis (Cliff), and Nicole Pitts (Jonathan); 12 great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William G. King Sr.; her grandson, Brian Little, her son-in-law Danny Little, and her sister Hilda P. Montgomery.

A special thanks to Aveanna Hospice for care, concerns, and loving kindness to our Mom during the past 11 months, and to her nurse, Gina, and all the other staff who took care of her needs. Also, to Mom’s special helper Lisa, for her devoted care and kindness.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Andalusia at 223 South Three Notch Street, Andalusia, AL 36420 or Aveanna Hospice, 820 South Three Notch Street, Andalusia, AL.

Pallbearers will be Tom Savage, John Thompson, Roger Powell, Jimmy Faulkner, Howard Green, Charles Gantt, and Stephen Caton.
