LBW Community College will host its third annual “Saints on Stage” variety show on Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2, at 7 p.m. in the Dixon Center for the Performing Arts.

Adults from the local community will join LBWCC students on stage. The show will consist of musical acts, vocalists, comedy routines, skits, dancers, and more.

“We have an incredible lineup of talent for our third annual Saints on Stage,” LBWCC Director of Student and Community Engagement Katie King said. “My goal when we started this program was to highlight student talent alongside community talent, and we are doing that this year. We feature all types of acts in the show from music, to comedy, dancing to vocal performances, and everything in between.”

Acts include Phillip McClung, John Carpenter, Adrianna Carpenter and Jamal Curry, 55 South, Scott and Ivy Rogers, Tabitha Sasser and Hunter Linzy, Jeremy Craig and Jason Gunter, Jake Wilson, Ivanka Bzhezinska, and Gavin and Ryan Cresswell.

LBWCC student performances include Mason Browder, Khloe Craig, Emily Anne Morgan with Jose Soares, Victori Edwards, Daniel Bell, and the Common Ground Steppers.

“All styles and genres are represented, as our acts get to perform what they love the most. This is a creative way to fundraise for our students all the while providing a place for people who love the stage to have fun and show off,” King added.

For the first time since the show launched in 2022, the public will have an opportunity to participate in a “People’s Choice” award.

“Guests can buy tickets in the lobby and vote for their favorite act. The winner gets bragging rights and their name on a plaque. We love this idea to raise a little bit more and recognize our performers at the same time,” she said.

General admission tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at LBW, Utopia Salon and Spa, and Town and Country. All proceeds from the event will go towards LBW student activities and community engagement events.
