Bulldogs end season at Jackson in second round, 31-7

Andalusia traveled to Jackson for a top-3 matchup in the second round of the state playoffs Friday night and fell short, 31-7, to end the season.
The third-ranked Bulldogs finished the season at 10-2, while the second-ranked Aggies improved to 11-0.
Jack Lathrop was 9-for-22 passing with 78 yards. J’Marion Burnette closed out his career at AHS with 18 rushes for 100 yards and the lone Andalusia touchdown. He also made one catch for nine yards. Zerrick Jones had 15 rushes for 44 yards, and Jordyn Skanes collected three carries for 11 yards.
Cadariyus Love led the receiving department with five receptions for 28 yards and was followed by Parker Adams with two catches for 26 yards. Jordan Stallworth added a reception for 15 yards.
The Bulldogs finished the game with 233 yards in total offense.
