To the Editor:

Just wanted to say a big “Thank You” to all the wonderful patriotic people in this part of the world who participated in the Fourth of July parade held in Andalusia.

It is such a pleasure to see everyone come dressed in red, white and blue and to watch as they join in the parade. It’s just as much of a pleasure to see the crowds as they line the street and call out “Happy 4th” to everyone as they wave.

From beach balls to confetti to popsicles and little inflatable Uncle Sam’s…this was the biggest and best parade for America’s birthday we’ve ever had.

The big thank you goes to all of you who support this and come and enjoy it.

Here’s to many, many more! We are truly well on our way to being the Most Patriotic town ever!
