A Dozier man is dead following a one-vehicle accident north of Gantt Tuesday.

Alabama State Troopers reported Roger Ladon Odom Jr., 40, was traveling on U.S. 29 when his vehicle crossed the southbound lanes, hit a culvert and overturned.

Odom, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers said the accident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. two miles north of Gantt.

No other information was available when The Star-News went to press.

The crash remains under investigation by the troopers.
