Andalusia High School has released its football schedule for the 2023 season.

The Bulldogs kick off the regular season on the road Thursday, August 24, at Opp in the teams’ 93rd all-time meeting. Andalusia’s first home game will be senior night against Anniston on Friday, Sept. 1, in a rematch from the quarterfinals a year ago that resulted in a 35-28 comeback win.

AHS will host homecoming Friday, Sept. 29, against Bibb County.

Andalusia won the 4A state championship in 2022 with a historic 14-1 season and claimed the school’s first title since 1977. Trent Taylor will return for his ninth season with the Bulldogs and has an 84-25 record since returning to his alma mater in 2015.

All games will kick off at 7 p.m. Dates for the schedule are subject to change.
